I have been making more cowls than other things lately. I think it is really convenient as a gifting option : it doesn’t take as long as the scarf to make and the sizing is extremely adaptable.
This is my latest one. I sent this cowl as one of the gifts to my 4th grader’s class teacher. I used this intriguing pattern named ‘Inside Out’. The texture seen above is formed on what we usually call the ‘wrong side’ of the project.
Many moons ago, I had designed a crochet hat, that uses a similar technique of working from the inside out to produce texture. Here is the link for my pattern Adya.
I loved working on this cowl for the beloved teacher and hope she likes it and gets good use out of it.
